Product Description
Tulsi Leaves are a variety of basil that come from a perennial plant in the Lamiaceae, or mint family. Native to Southeast Asia, Tulsi is also known as holy basil because of its religious and spiritual significance in the Indian culture. You can often find it growing in sacred areas in homes and temples around India. However, Tulsi is not only popular in India, it is also an essential herb in Thai cuisine! This flowering plant is known for its bold aroma and peppery, yet floral flavor.
To brew, add 8 ounces of boiling water to a mug and stir in a teaspoon of Tulsi Leaves. Allow the herbal tea to steep for 5 minutes, strain, and enjoy! But don’t stop there! Add honey or lemon to enhance the flavor of the leaves. You can even use Tulsi Leaves to make mouthwash!
Anthony’s Tulsi Leaves are Organic, Cut & Sifted, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, and Caffeine Free.
