Product Description
The two types of cinnamon, Ceylon and Cassia, come from two related but different trees. Cassia Cinnamon, also known as Chinese cinnamon, is from the Cinnamomum cassia species which is the most commonly used cinnamon in the United States. Compared to Ceylon, Cassia is darker in color with an exotic aroma and a deep flavor. This wonderfully aromatic spice is ideal for baking, making tea, and all other culinary uses. Anthony’s Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is grown and freshly ground in India.
