Product Description
Did you know that Peppermint use dates back to Ancient Egyptian times? There are findings of dried peppermint leaves in Egyptian pyramids! This flowering perennial is indigenous to the Middle East & Europe, but is grown all over the world today. As one of the most popular herbs, the peppermint plant is often referred to as the world’s oldest medicine. Don’t worry if you have bad breath, peppermint can help you out! Peppermint is a hybrid mix of spearmint and watermint, resulting in a cool and refreshing sensation. Peppermint is caffeine free, so it won’t make you stay up all hours of the night. You can use it to make tea, homemade soaps, DIY body care, and more! To prepare peppermint tea, boil at least 8 ounces of water with 1-2 teaspoons of peppermint. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes, then strain and serve.
