Italian Herb Chickpea Chips
• 1 cup Anthony’s Goods Chickpea Flour • 1 tbsp tahini • 3 tbsp water • 1 tbsp Anthony’s Goods Nutritional Yeast • ½ tsp Anthony’s Goods Dried Basil • ¼ tsp Anthony’s Goods Dried Thyme • ½ tsp dried oregano • 1 tsp salt • Freshly ground black pepper
These crispy chickpea chips are the perfect high-protein addition to a healthy snack board. 1. Preheat the oven to 400F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chickpea flour, herbs, salt and pepper. 3. Add the tahini and water. Use your hands to mix everything until a dough forms. If the mixture is too dry, add a little bit more water and mix again. 4. Scoop the dough a teaspoon at a time and roll it into a ball. Place them on the baking sheets, a few inches apart. 5. Then, using a rolling pin, roll each ball into a thin circle to create a chip shape. 6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the chips are golden brown around the edges, keeping an eye on them after 5 minutes to ensure they don’t burn. 7. Remove from the oven and let cool before enjoying.
