Ingredients
Ingredients for the lavender latte: • 6 oz espresso • 6 oz milk of choice • 1 tbsp lavender syrup • Lots of ice Ingredients for the lavender syrup: • 2 cups Anthony’s Organic Cane Sugar • 1 cup water • 3 tbsp Anthony’s French Lavender Petals
Instructions
This delicately floral latte will be your new summer favorite. The recipe below is simply a guide and can be adjusted if you want more or less to sip on. Just keep this rule in mind: pour equal parts coffee and milk over ice, then add lavender syrup to taste. 1. In a small saucepan, bring the water and lavender to a boil. Reduce the heat and add the sugar. Stir until fully dissolved. Let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes, then remove it from the heat and let it steep. The longer you steep, the more lavender flavor the syrup will have. We recommend steeping for at least 3 hours. Strain the lavender out and store in an airtight jar in the fridge. 2. To make the lavender latte: Fill a large cup with ice, and your milk of choice. Pour in the espresso shots and lavender syrup and stir until the syrup has dissolved.
