Ingredients

For the crust:
- 3 cups Anthony's Goods Blanched Almond Flour
- 6 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 6 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt

For the top layer:
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup Anthony's Goods Coconut Sugar
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

This seasonal treat is perfect for parties, work gatherings or just for yourself!

1. In a large bowl, mix all of the crust ingredients together with your hands.

2. Preheat the oven to 350F and line an 8x8 baking tray with parchment paper.

3. Press the crust evenly into the tray and bake for 10 minutes.

4. Remove the crust from the oven and set it aside while you prepare the mixture for the top layer.

5. In a small saucepan, mix all of the top layer ingredients, except for the pecans. Let this mixture simmer on low heat for a few minutes while stirring consistently. Then fold in the pecans.

6. Pour this mixture on top of the crust and bake for another 20 mins.

7. Let the bars cool in the pan, then put the entire pan in the fridge for at least an hour before removing and cutting into slices.
