Product Description
Indigenous to the Mountains of Peru we present Black Maca, the rarest color of all macas. The three macas, red, yellow and black, are all from the same species, but differ in composition. Anthony’s Organic Black Maca Root Powder is Non-GMO and gluten free with a malted taste reminiscent of toasted oats and butterscotch.
Directions: Mix 1-3 teaspoons Black Maca into cereals, smoothies, protein shakes or raw desserts. Best taken in the morning.
Though there are no serious known side effects of Maca, like any other supplement, it should not be taken in large amounts.
Our USDA Organic Raw Black Maca Root Powder is certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) and batch tested and verified gluten-free.
WARNING: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, cadmium, and arsenic, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/food
