Instructions
The star of this crunchy and refreshing salad is sumac. Make sure not to skip it if you want an authentic, mouth-watering fattoush.1. Chop the vegetables and herbs and add them to a large bowl with the sumac.
2. Toast the pita bread in a toaster oven until golden-brown and crunchy.
3. Meanwhile, whisk the dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Add it to the salad and toss.
4. Break the toasted pita bread into bite-size pieces and sprinkle them on top of the salad right before serving.
