Ingredients
Ingredients for the oatmeal: • 1 cup Anthony’s Goods Organic Rolled Oats • 2 cup almond milk • 2 dates, pitted and finely chopped • 2 tsp Anthony’s Goods Flaxseed Meal • ½ tsp Anthony’s Goods Turmeric Root Powder • Drizzle of honey (optional) Ingredients for the Blueberry Sauce: • 2 cups fresh blueberries • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated • ½ cup water
Instructions
Give your breakfast oatmeal a glow up with a few shakes of turmeric. This recipe yields two bowls of creamy, comforting oats drowned in a zingy ginger blueberry sauce. 1. In a medium pot, bring the blueberry sauce ingredients to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring every now and then, until the blueberries burst. Remove the pot from the heat and set aside for another 10 minutes for the sauce to thicken. 2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, add the oatmeal ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let simmer until the liquid is absorbed and the oats are cooked. 3. Fill a bowl with the oatmeal and top with blueberry sauce. 4. Serve warm.
