Homemade Granola

Healthy homemade granola is easy to make with staples from Anthony’s. Here’s how!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Anthony’s Organic Rolled Oats

  • 1/2 cup Anthony’s Organic Whole Grain Oat Flour

  • 2 tbsp Anthony’s Organic Brown Flaxseed Meal

  • 3/4 cup whole raw almonds

  • 3/4 cup Anthony’s Organic Whole Cashews

  • 2 tsp Anthony’s Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1/3 maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3/4 cup Medjool dates, chopped (add after baking the granola)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk all of the dry ingredients together.
  2. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the coconut oil and whisk in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and mix well until everything is coated.
  4. Press the granola evenly onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 300F for 40 minutes (mixing once halfway through the baking time).
  5. Once the granola is golden, remove it from the oven and mix in the chopped dates.
  6. Enjoy it layered into a yogurt parfait, with milk or on its own!
