Vegetable oil or butter to grease the baking pan

Sliced almonds, for topping

Powdered sugar, for serving (optional)

- Beat the eggs with the sugar until smooth and foamy.
- Add the almond extract and mix to combine.
- Then, add the baking powder, salt and almond flour. Fold in the dry ingredients.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and top it with sliced almonds.
- Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool for 15 minutes before removing the cake from the pan. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar and enjoy!
