Chocolate Buckwheat Porridge
• ¾ cup Anthony’s Goods Buckwheat Groats • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 tsp Anthony’s Goods Ceylon Cinnamon Powder • 1 ripe banana, mashed • 1 ½ tbsp Anthony’s Goods Organic Cocoa Powder • Maple syrup, to taste • Anthony’s Goods Shredded Coconut and Roasted Hazelnuts, for topping • Sliced banana, for topping
Sweetened with ripe banana and an optional touch of maple syrup, this chocolate breakfast porridge is a healthy, hearty and happy way to start the day. Double the recipe if making breakfast for two. 1. In a small pot, combine all of the ingredients and stir on medium-low heat until combined. Let the porridge cook until the buckwheat is chewy and tender. 2. Top with banana slices, shredded coconut and chopped roasted hazelnuts. 3. Serve warm.
