Ingredients
• 2 grapefruits • 1 tbsp honey • 1 tbsp Anthony’s Goods Coconut Sugar • 1 tsp vanilla extract • A few shakes of Anthony’s Goods Cassia Cinnamon Powder
Instructions
A half a grapefruit is a classic and refreshing side for a breakfast of champions but broiling your citrus really takes it up a notch. Honey, coconut sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon give a glossy sweet shine to this bittersweet fruit. 1. Cut the grapefruits in half and use a paring knife to cut each section carefully away from the inner membranes that separate the sections. This helps soak up the honey mixture. 2. In a small bowl, mix all of the remaining ingredients, except the cinnamon. Brush the mixture onto each grapefruit half and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle on some cinnamon. 3. Broil on high for 5-7 minutes, until the top is lightly browned and the liquid is bubbling in the center. 4. Serve warm.
