Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups Anthony's Blanched Almond Flour

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ½ cup vegan butter, melted

  • 1 tsp almond extract

  • Zest of 1 orange

  • Sliced almonds, for topping

  • Powdered sugar, for topping

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together all of the ingredients (except the sliced almonds and powdered sugar) until combined.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350F. 
  3. Taking the dough 2 tablespoons at a time, roll it into a cylinder shape, then shape the ends into points to create a crescent. Press some sliced almonds on top and arrange the cookies (at least 1 inch apart) onto the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-17 minutes, until golden.
  5. Let the cookies cool, then dust them with powdered sugar and enjoy!
