Anthony’s Organic Whole Cardamom Pods, botanical name Elettaria cardamomum, has made its way as a shelf stable spice to chefs all over the world. Native to Southern India, Cardamom Pods are known to be one of the oldest spices in the world, being used in recipes and home remedies for over 4,000 years! These green pods are derived from the same botanical family as ginger and turmeric. Cardamom has a spicy, sweet taste and rich aroma that creates a unique flavor pleasing to the palate!
Our Organic Cardamom Pods can be used whole or ground up. Use in dry meat rubs, marinades, spice blends, soups, curries, baked goods, as well as coffees and teas!
