Ingredients
1 pre-made pie crust 10 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced Juice ½ lemon 1 cup Anthony’s Goods Date Sugar ½ cup white flour 1 ½ tsp Anthony’s Goods Cassia Cinnamon Topping 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup white flour ½ cup oats ¼ cup Anthony’s Goods Coconut Oil ¼ cup ghee
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a pie pan & lay the premade pie crust into the bottom of the pan. Poke holes with a fork into the pie crust so that air can escape. Place the crust into the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until golden. Remove the pie crust from the oven and place the oven on 375 degrees. Next, in a bowl combine the apples, lemon juice, date sugar, white flour, and cinnamon. Mix the apple mixture together until all the apples are coated. Place the apple mixture into the pie crust & cover the pie with foil. Place the pie into the oven and allow the pie to bake for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, add the topping ingredients to another bowl and cut the coconut oil and ghee into the dry ingredients. Add the crumble topping to the top of the apple pie in an even layer (you may have to take a piece of foil and press on the top of the pie to flatten the ingredients for them to all fit into the pie). Place the pie back into the oven (uncovered) and allow the pie to bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the apples are cooked through. Once the pie is cooked, remove it from the oven. Serve or allow the pie to cool completely & cover until ready to serve.
