Dairy Free Protein Mac & "Cheese"
1 3/4 cup Anthony's Organic Whole Cashews 1/4 cup Anthony’s Collagen Peptide Powder 1/2 tsp chipotle powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp ground mustard 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 cup hot water Pasta Ingredients: 1 box of Banza Shells Chickpea Pasta 8 cups of water 1/2 tsp salt
Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Set the sauce aside. Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the pasta and salt to boiling water. Cook the pasta over medium heat for 10 minutes. Pour noodles into a colander to drain water. Run cold water over the noodles then return them to the large pot. Add desired amount of “cheese sauce” to the pasta and stir to combine. (You do not have to use all of the "cheese sauce" for one box of pasta.) Store the left over “cheese sauce in the refrigerator to use another time. Enjoy!
